Hello all!
For a surprise final assignment, our PED3141 Professor tested us on our knowledge of planning and assessment with this bonus analysis. We were asked to work in pairs for two of the Activities listed and one Activity on our own. Riley and I completed Activity 2 and 3 together, while I completed Activity 1 individually. This task asked us to bring together all our knowledge of Backward Design, Assessment, Universal Design of Learning, and our understanding of Rubrics. I hope you enjoy reading about our findings. Please click the link below to be directed to our research. Thanks, Miss Starkey :)

Hi everyone!
I cannot believe I am nearing the end of my first semester of Teacher's College! Time has gone by so quickly! After receiving feedback regarding my Lesson Plan Version 1.0, I was able to go back and edit my original ideas. I am so thankful my Professor, Michelle Hagerman, was there to help me and answer all my questions. Please click the link below to view the second version of my "Twisted" Fairy Tale Lesson Plan. Feel free to comment with any feedback; I would love it :) Cheers, Miss. Starkey :0) Hello all!
This week's assignment challenged us to create an in-depth presentation outlining a single method of instruction in under four minutes! Together, Maya, Lianna, Karissa, and I explore the idea of "Peer Tutoring", and talk about it's incredible benefits in the classroom. Please click the link below for our complete Ignite style presentation and transcript to follow along. Comment below with feedback as well. Enjoy! Miss Starkey :) |
